Amid the ongoing Iran-Israel war, a bizarre video has surfaced on the internet, which is claimed to be coming out of Lebanon and shows a striking contrast as war tension escalates. The viral video is captured on a rooftop bar in Beirut, where people appear to be unfazed, despite rockets lighting up the sky nearby.
In the clip, people are seen dancing, snapping selfies, and enjoying live trumpet music as if the turmoil around them doesn't exist. The viral video first surfaced on X (formerly called Twitter), showing a calm moment amid regional turmoil.
The footage that is now doing the rounds on the internet shows a trumpet player delivering a live performance on a rooftop restaurant, likely at one of Beirut's popular nightspots like SPINE or Iris Rooftop. However, the specific location is still unknown, but as per X's AI chatbot Grok's speculation, the footage came from a coastal pub in Beirut.
Meanwhile, a DJ keeps the beats flowing in the background as guests stay completely engaged, holding their phones high to record the glowing missile trails streaking across the sky and beyond.
The photos and videos quickly went viral as soon as they surfaced on social media, following Israel's 'Operation Rising Lion' that started on June 13.
On the other hand, netizens shared their reaction to the viral video, and one said, "There aren¡¯t any Dancing Israelis-there are Dancing Lebanese! Lebanon is hosting raves & rooftop parties tonight."
While another said, "This is my favorite video, a party in Lebanon playing 80s cover disco music while missiles fly overhead. Dystopian; the 1980s APPROVE!!!"
"Nothing can stop the Lebanese people from vibing ?," one added.
"They actually know how to party."
"Most of them are Palestinian"
"The sax is actually vibes with this background," one said.
"It¡¯s wild to see the whole world come together in celebration at the bombing of one country."
