Bollywood bhaijaan 'Salman Khan' recently appeared on his nephew Arhaan Khan's podcast on YouTube called 'Dumb Biryani,' where he candidly opened up about love, friendships, the life of Gen Z, family, mental health, and career.?
It is perhaps the first time that Salman Khan has spoken candidly about his personal life, as he has always kept it private. Revealing his thoughts on getting married and having kids, Salman joked that he still has time to have kids.?
Salman also asked Arhaan why he wanted to start a podcast channel, to which Arhaan responded that they wanted to create memories for themselves and leave them behind.?
During the podcast, Salman Khan mentioned that he doesn't use social media to stay in touch with his friends; he is quite old school, and he believes in calling them up. He also revealed that during his growing-up days, he was very clear in his mind that he wanted to become a film director. "I still write, but nobody gave me a job as a director," he added.?
He said people used to say, "Ye bacha kya director karega?" (How can this kid direct, as he was just 17 years old?) and then everywhere he went, people used to say to him to start acting. This is when he started to make videos with Naser, Nazim, and Kazim, Johnny Walker's sons. In those videos, he was the hero.?
Salman Khan went on to talk about relationships and marriage; he said he has been in several relationships, yet he has yet to tie the knot with anyone. Rarely talked about his family matters on a public platform, but briefly touching upon the divorce of Arhaan Khan's parents, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora, he said Arhaan has gone through his ups and downs.?
After his mom's and dad's relationship ended. He advised them that they have to make it on their own, as one day they will have their own family and unit. Hence, this is what you have to work on to have your own family.
