If you are a luxury bike enthusiast, here is some good news for you!
The BMW M 1000 RR was recently launched in India with a whopping starting price of Rs 42 lakh. It is the most expensive offering from BMW Motorrad in India.?
It is available as a CBU (completely built unit) product and the first unit of the M 1000 RR has already arrived in India and is ready to be delivered.
The bike is the first one to come out of BMW's M division which is highly recognised for its performance cars. There is also a homologation special offering which means BMW competes in the WSBK racing series with the same bike.?
To get this bike, the buyer has to pay Rs 42 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 45 lakh for the Competition trim?(both prices are ex-showroom).
The M 1000 RR has a lot of changes since it is based on the S 1000 RR.?
The 999cc, inline four-cylinder motor of this track tool pumps out 212bhp at 14,500rpm and 112.4Nm of torque at 11,000rpm. It also incorporates sport M braking hardware, a pair of winglets for increased downforce, and a lot of carbon fibre components that contribute to shedding 4kg from its kerb weight over the S 1000 RR.
This is one of the most technologically advanced bikes out there.?
