Chetan Bhagat, a well-known novelist, has responded to the ongoing issue surrounding the poisoning of laddu prasad provided at the Tirumala Tirupati Temple in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. He took note of the food lab data, which indicated that these laddus contained beef fast and fish oil during their production.?
In his X post, Bhagat addressed the recent issue, claiming that most sweets contain white sugar, which is manufactured from burnt animal bones.?
"White sugar is made white with a process involving charred animal bones. Goes in most sweet items," he stated, implying that most desserts made with commonly used white sugar could be tainted due to the presence of such non-vegetarian ingredients during the production process.
However, the author's post was not totally focused on the prasad issue, which piqued people's interest. It rather asked individuals to shed light on other major societal issues that needed to be discussed and resolved.
Bhagat took to social media and stated, "Air pollution. Potholes. There aren't enough college seats. Paper leaks. Poor healthcare. Please be enraged by all of this, particularly the suspected pollution of Prasad at a specific temple..."??
An article by PETA supported the claim made by the Indian author and stated, "Bone char is used to process sugar. It is made from the bones of cattle from Afghanistan, Argentina, India, and Pakistan. As a decolorizing filter, which allows the sugar cane to achieve its desirable white colour."?
Do Tirupati Laddus include inappropriate components such as beef fat and fish oil? A laboratory result verified the use of pig fat in the making of Tirupati laddu, a popular temple prasad from the seven hills.
