Learning to drive is probably one of the most liberating experiences. It makes getting around so much easier. But the process of learning might not be the easiest for everyone.
Driving takes time; first you learn the basics and a bunch of rules, and then you practise before you take the test. However, if you live in China, the route to getting your licence isn't that simple because of a stern driving test.?
A video of a drivers¡¯ licence test in?China?has gone viral on social media. While the clip only consists of one stage, it will leave you stunned at the level of expertise it requires.
The video shows a path created with white outlines, comprising several obstacles. A driver is made to sweat for his all-important license. They are made to park, make an eight, take a reverse, etc.?
The clip opens with the vehicle starting on the zig-zag track. It then showed the driver parking the car in reverse. The driver is also made to put the car in reverse, for a longer path, which also includes going up a track, and then coming down.
Towards the end of the video, the driver is also made to showcase his parallel parking skills.
The video was shared on Twitter by user Tansu Yegen, with the caption, "Driver license exam station in China."?
The clip has garnered more than 12 million views and tons of comments.?
"That¡¯s nice. Road tests on actual roads with actual cars is a much better test to see if a driver is prepared to drive," a person said.?
"This is literally important. I had to 25 point turn because the 18 wheeler supply for my store parked on the side I was at. This is why we have so many accidents in the states. Vehicle object permanence isn't taught," a second person said.?
"No offence to them but where is the other cars that are on the road? Looks like a difficult test with little margin for error but at the same time the road where they are going to drive in real life is full of other traffic," a user added.?
