The?coronavirus outbreak has led people around the world to take extra precautions especially when it comes to hygiene. Washing hands and regularly using hand sanitizers are just a couple of these precautions which the WHO has said are effective in keeping the virus at bay.
To make sure that the kids follow the precautionary measures a teacher in a school came up with a fun and effective method. And it has gone viral for all the right reasons.
A post was shared on social media by a grade three teacher, Mrs Woods, saying that she began using a stamp to remind students to wash their hands. ¡®Students got stamps on their hands this morning. If it¡¯s gone by the end of the day from washing their hands, they get a prize,¡¯ the post reads.?
People are really impressed by this hack that has been going around for about a week now.?
One person commented on the Facebook post, ¡®I¡¯m stamping my own kid with this idea in mind every morning. Thanks¡¯, while another one wrote, ¡®I need to try this at work. I¡¯m noticing that adults are worse than kids¡¯.?
While there were also some people who had their apprehensions about the method. ¡®Don¡¯t tell me you don¡¯t see the irony of passing that around to everyone¡¯s hands,¡¯ one user wrote. While another said, ¡®Ok now spreading germs by stamping everyone¡¯s hand with the same stamp. People need to seriously stop and think before acting¡¯.?
However, replying to this Mrs Wood said that she first asks the students to wash their hands and then puts the stamp on. She also puts a stamp on her hand to be a positive role model.?
