A couple who got their dream mansion worth??3 million (Rs 27,62,20,564) have already put the mansion on sale after a few weeks because they thought they did not fit in the neighbourhood.?
A man named Uttam Parmer entered the Omaze Million Pound House Draw and won a four-bedroom Cornish house with panoramic estuary views. The man was provided with a mortgage-free house?with all stamp duty and legal fees covered. He also was also given ?50,000 in cash to help settle in.
But despite all the perks and privileges and a beautiful house, Uttam put the house out on sale eight weeks later and listed the home for??4m on Rightmove.
58-year-old Uttam and his Raki have now moved back to their four-bed home near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.¡°It is a fantastic house in a beautiful Cornish location but the price of it comes with a price to keep it and we can't afford to. We are selling it and not keeping it as a holiday home,¡± he told MailOnline.
¡°We considered moving there and staying there but with all the costs et cetera it was a lot so we decided to sell it.¡± He added: ¡°I'm quite a normal guy, there are some celebrity neighbours but I'm not in that showbiz league.¡°It would be nice to meet a celebrity in the neighbourhood but we'd be a bit out of our depth.¡±
The eco-mansion that the Parmer family won comes totally insulated with recycled newspapers and a ¡®green roof¡¯ covered in grass, moss and flowers.?It also has 5.3 acres of land.
Not just that, the mansion boasts neighbours such as?Gordon Ramsay, who lives with his family in a ?4.4million mansion across the Camel Estuary from Padstow.
