As the world of technology continues to evolve, professionals of all generations are keen to incorporate AI into their working lives, according to recent LinkedIn India research.?
The majority of Gen X and?Millennial?respondents exhibited interest in utilising this upcoming technology, displaying their acceptance and adaptability to innovations. The study was done on the same demographics.?
An astonishing 75% of Millennials and 74% of?Gen?X workers (born between 1965 and 1980 and 1981 and 1996, respectively) expressed confidence that?AI?will relieve them from tedious chores, giving them more time for fascinating work.?
This optimism extends to Generation Z, with 70% of respondents (those born between 1996 and 2010) expressing enthusiasm for AI inclusion.
"Professionals from these three generations are leveraging AI's potential to boost productivity, navigate work challenges, and achieve meaningful work-life balance," said Nirajita Banerjee, LinkedIn India Editorial Lead and Career Expert. Despite some reservations, as technology unpredictability often does, there is a general sense of optimism about AI's revolutionary potential in the professional sector.?
According to the LinkedIn survey, 84% of Millennials, 82% of Gen X, and 72% of Gen Z professionals feel AI may help them solve complicated job-related problems, potentially increasing job satisfaction and overall quality of life. A large number of Millennials (79%) and Gen X (76%) respondents said AI's absorption of trivial chores would help them achieve a better work-life balance, implying improved productivity and fulfillment.Surprisingly, 93% of Millennials and 89% of Gen X workers envision AI as an "invisible teammate" in the next five years.?
