The death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old African-American man has triggered violent unrest in Minneapolis, leading to a state of peacetime emergency being declared in Minnesota state as well as the activation of its National Guard. Fired Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been arrested four days after George Floyd¡¯s fatal arrest that sparked protests, rioting and outcry across the city and nation.?
