Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) might not have claimed the IPL trophy in 17 seasons, but their loyal fanbase is unwavering, always holding onto hope and fiercely defending their team. The latest target of their passionate support? Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav, who found himself on the receiving end of some trolling after making a comment about RCB. Now, Kuldeep has taken to social media, urging RCB fans to "chill."
Kuldeep Yadav, a big Barcelona fan, recently appeared on a YouTube podcast where he shared his passion for football.?
During the live stream, a viewer named "RCB management" used the 'Super Chat' feature to jokingly say, "Kuldeep bhai, come join RCB; we need a goalkeeper." (Kuldeep bro, please join RCB; we need one goalkeeper).
In response, the Delhi Capitals player, who was retained for IPL 2025, had a sharp reply: ¡°Tumhe goalkeeper ki nahi, trophy ki jarurat hai mere bhai. Goalkeeper kya karoge?" (You don't need a goalkeeper, you need a trophy. What will you do with a goalkeeper?)?

Naturally, RCB fans didn't take kindly to this comment, given the franchise's trophy drought.
To calm things down, Kuldeep posted on X later, saying, "Chill yar RCB fans¡ Trophy apki hai par main goalkeeper nahi hoon." (Chill, RCB fans... the trophy is yours, but I'm not a goalkeeper.)
One comment acknowledged his clever comeback: "But you owned a certain fanbase with just one word," while another added, "Spinner tossing up #RCB fans like a ball. Well bowled #Kuldeep."
Despite the playful jabs, RCB fans remained unwavering in their support, replying with comments like "???? ??? ??? ?? ????? ??... RCB ?? ?????? ?? ??? ??? ????." (You're teasing Virat Kohli... RCB will win this time, just wait and see.)?
The upcoming IPL 2025 will kick off on March 14 and wrap up on May 25.
