A video was shared by National award-winning filmmaker Vinod Kapri which showed a young man running on the street with a backpack at midnight.?The filmmaker asked the boy named Pradeep Mehra if he wanted a lift. But he refused. He said that he is running deliberately and does so every day after work because he doesn't get the time to train for the Indian army.
Now, thanks to social media, and Vinod Kapri, for making the video viral, the boy has caught Lt Gen Satish Dua's attention, who posted on the microblogging website, "His Josh is commendable, and to help him pass the recruitment tests on his merit, I've interacted with Colonel of KUMAON Regiment, Lt Gen Rana Kalita, the Eastern Army Commander. He is doing the needful to train the boy for recruitment into his Regiment.Jai Hind."
When Vinod Kapri had asked the boy why doesn't he run in the morning, Pradeep said he has to work and cook so he doesn't get time. He disclosed that he works in McDonald's in Sector-19 Noida. He revealed that he runs for 10 km every day.?He even shared that his mother is hospitalised and he lives with his brother.
Not just that, Kapri even offered the young boy dinner but he declined and said that he needs to have it with his brother who works on the night shift or else he'll be left alone.? ?
Pradeep has left everyone impressed with his dedication and acknowledged his will to achieve his dreams in life.
