Doctors, nurses and medical staff around the world are on the frontlines in the fight against coronavirus. They have been working day and night with some not even being paid on time but all of them are doing what they can to contain coronavirus.
Many images and videos of how working continuously in PPE kits and face masks for hours at a stretch impacts the bodies of these medical staff members have circulated online and have given us all an insight into how difficult their job currently is.?
Now a video reportedly from China is going viral, exemplifying the strain doctors are going through. It shows a doctor removing a hazmat suit after having donned it for hours and hours, the moment she removes it, bucket full of sweat seem to gush out of the medic¡¯s PPE kit. This happens when she lifts her trouser legs and removes plastic bags from her feet.
According to?People¡¯s Daily, the video was filmed on August 8 in Urumqi, the regional capital of Xinjiang in north-western China when the medic was taking a break.
We cannot verify if what came out of the suit was actually sweat or an elaborate prank where it was just water. However, the clip has gone viral and people seem to be believing it to be true.?

Back in March, when healthcare workers, especially in countries like Italy were under tremendous strain, doctors shared images of their bruised faces which were a result of wearing protective gear.?
Alessia Bonari, a nurse from Tuscany, Italy, took to Instagram and shared an image of her forehead and cheeks covered in red splotches from where her protective mask dug into her skin. ¡®I am physically tired because the protective devices are bad, the lab coat makes you sweat and once dressed I can no longer go to the bathroom or drink for six hours,¡¯ she wrote in the caption.?
She also shared an important message with people to ¡®stay home¡¯.?
By doing our bit in controlling the spread of coronavirus, we will actually be helping these frontline workers.?
