In a post shared by a Reddit user, a Swiggy user described how customer care response was a problem for her. Swiggy usually doesn¡¯t share delivery partners, or personal contact numbers with any customer and vice versa.?
The customer and delivery partner are connected via third-party services that create a virtual phone number, it¡¯s called?number?masking.?However, in this case, the Customer Care professional shares the delivery partner's number with the user and asks her to call the delivery agent and give instructions?to?him?herself.
In this case, the delivery partner would get the customer's number as they are not connected via The number masking process. In return, the delivery partner who now has access to the customer, personal phone number ended up calling her nine times in?the?same?night.
