D Prasanth Nair used the social media site X to share his experience staying at a Taj hotel in Chennai. He praised the Tata Group-owned hospitality industry and compared it favourably to another well-known Indian hotel brand.
Mumbai-based Nair said he and a coworker were in Chennai when the rain began. While Nair was staying at a Taj, his colleague chose another prominent Indian hotel brand, which he did not name but recognized simply as "H".?
The two were meant to fly out of Chennai on October 16. However, because of the unpredictable weather, they decided to cut their journey short and return on the evening of October 15.?
Nair was pleasantly surprised when he told the hotel of his choice, and they declined to charge him for the 16th, as they were completely within their rights to do, citing the circumstances behind his change of plans.?
