In order to lend them a helping hand in this time of crisis, a group of good Samaritans in Tamil Nadu's Kumbakonam installed an 'Anbu Suvar' - "Wall of Kindness" - to provide food to the poor and needy during this lockdown.?
The wall is located at Sarankabani Koil Sannidhi street in Kumbakonam and includes 100 packets of a number of rice varieties including sambar rice, lemon rice, tomato rice and curd rice.
The wall also has other essential items like biscuits and packaged bottles of water. The ones who need food, can simply go to the wall and take it. According to a News18 report, the organisers have said that the wall will continue to feed the underprivileged for the entire duration of the lockdown.?
