Do you recall Rancho telling Pia in the movie 3 Idiots?that Suhas is just a price tag and not a man? We all laughed out loud when Rancho used a small amount of chutney?to gauge Suhas' reaction to his pricey possessions getting ruined in order to expose his conceited nature.
But have you ever really thought why Suhas behaved like that? The following tweet shares a new perspective on Suhas' character. Read on.
A?recent tweet made us aware of a more complex side of Suhas that we might have overlooked when we were younger but that we can now relate to much more deeply as adults!
Twitter user Aaraynsh shared a heartfelt note that said, ¡°Suhas, I used to laugh at you as a kid, but as I grew up, I realized you were a good man. Losing a 4-lakh rupee watch, for which you had worked tirelessly, would drive anyone crazy. I now understand how it feels when a pair of 400 dollar shoes get dirty."
The tweet owner reflects on their personal experiences growing up in the middle class and the challenges they faced pursuing their dreams, particularly the pressure to excel academically and land a prestigious job at institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology and Management.?
He recounts a particularly difficult experience where the character accidentally spilt chutney on a sherwani worth 1.5 lakh on their wedding day, causing his fiancee to walk away from the mandap. Despite this setback, he is praised as a hero for persevering through difficult circumstances.
"This is something new perspective of Shuhas, finally someone saw the good in him," tweeted a girl.?
Another lady explained, "Perfectly said! And I believe it's not materialism, it's a very common trait that anyone would have!As for career choice, nowadays many people do what suhas did! And actually i always felt that suhas was a metaphor for Chetan Bhagat! IIT, IIM, and then banking!"
Another opined, "But always bragging about money was not funny. Letting others feel only he has achieved everything was not funny. Making his girl not wear her mother¡¯s watch was not funny. The lesson was to be grounded. :)"
"Finally someone understand suhas... Don't know why but whenever I watch movies I always love Junior artist who has good impact actually... ," wrote another man.
