His prompt response averted a potential calamity and gained him praise on social media.According to a story in the Times of India, the man got off the train from Guwahati to Bikaner to buy lunch at the station.
The train arrived at Prayagraj station at 11:18 a.m. and, as scheduled, left at 11:35 a.m. after obtaining a green signal.As the train began to move, the 63-year-old man, realizing he had been left behind, attempted to board while it was already in motion.?
He reportedly gripped the AC coach's handle but lost his balance in the process. When RPF assistant sub-inspector Rawat noticed the problem, he acted quickly.?
Using all of his might, he drew Sajjan Kumar away from the moving train, saving him from plunging into the deadly gap between platform and train.
The entire incident was filmed on CCTV, and the Railways thanked the officer for his audacious conduct. The elderly man also thanked the railway police officer who saved his life.

According to sources, Sajjan Kumar, a Jaipur resident, was allowed to board another train to his destination.The Indian Railways uploaded the video on X (formerly Twitter).
