A group of Gujaratis stranded in Uttarakhand after a landslide was seen performing Garba to pass the time. A video of their energetic performance on a picturesque route has gone viral on social media.?
Viraj Gorasia, who filmed the video, informed in an HT report that he and his parents are now on a Char Dham Yatra journey. The crew had severe delays on their way to Gangotri due to landslides in the area.
"Currently stuck somewhere in Uttarakhand due to some landslide & a random group of Gujjus thought playing Garba is the best that they can do," Gorasia captioned the video.?
Police authorities informed the group that road clearance could take 6 to 10 hours, so they began looking for ways to pass the time.
According to an HT report, "A group of Gujaratis thought that playing Garba is the best that they can do in their spare time¡So they started playing garba and singing garba songs as well. After some time, some more Gujaratis including my parents joined them to play garba,¡± he added.
On the social media platform X, he posted a video of the group dancing on the road.?
The trip party consisted of 30 to 40 Gujaratis who played the garba for one hour.The video has garnered thousands of views and amusing comments on X. Here's what people commented under the video.
