Cyclone Dana is forecast to make landfall on the Odisha coast around October 25. The storm will most likely grow into a strong cyclonic storm and make landfall between Bhitarkanika National Park and Dharma Port in Odisha tonight. As evacuation operations continue, several startling videos of severe winds ahead of Cyclone Dana have emerged on social media.
A video by news agency ANI shows grey clouds hovering over strong sea currents at the Digha beach. ¡°West Bengal: #CycloneDana is expected to make landfall over the Odisha-West Bengal coast, between October 24-25,¡± ANI wrote.
Another video released by the Indian Coast Guard's official account shows rescue crews from helicopters and ships delivering safety statements to fishermen and small boats.?

Several trees fell in the Tunga area, blocking the roadways, as a result of strong winds. Sudhansu Sekhar Behe, an X user, shared photographs of the Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) clearing the blocked road.?
