They Are Everywhere: 1000-Year-old Jesus Painting Apparently Has UFOs, Theorists Go Wild
People are losing their minds after some light was shed on a 1000-year-old Jesus painting that appears to have signs of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) in it. The painting has apparent ¡°UFOs¡± hovering above Jesus¡¯ head in the 11th-century fresco mural painting made by an unknown artist.
1000-Year-old Jesus Painting Might Have UFOs
The painting is etched onto a wall of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Eurasian Georgia and appears to show UFOs circling Calgary as Jesus Christ hangs on the cross. Although the spacecraft-looking objects are not the main focus of the painting, modern viewers can¡¯t help but wonder if the jellyfish-adjacent spacecraft in the painting were meant to be representations of alien life on Earth.
In the painting, an onlooker of Jesus¡¯ crucifixion seems to be pointing at a UFO hovering in the sky. While the origins of the painting are completely unknown, it is believed that it is over 1000 years old.?
According to some historians, the 11th-century artwork was supposed to represent guardian angels. However, the theory seems to have weak evidence backing it for some on the Internet, as the shape of the sky blobs oddly resembles the saucer-like shape of the alien crafts modern humans often use.
While Historians Believed They Were Angels, Conspiracy Theorists Had Their Own Ideas
While they argue that if the blobs were in fact supposed to be angels, they would have been drawn as having wings, the conspiracy theory website Ancient Aliens weighed in on the painting and wrote, "The unknown artist seems to be telling us that these flying saucers were present during the death of Jesus."
The website added, "The faces likely mean that these crafts were piloted by people or beings that seem to play a central role in the event. They must have been part of the crucifixion story, at least as it was taught by the Georgian orthodox church."
The conspiracy theorists further probe: "Were early artists and the Orthodox church aware of certain facts about the ancient aliens that have been veiled from us today?"
