And now people are getting into nasty brawls at supermarketsto grab packs of toilet rolls. The following incident took place at Woolworths store inSydney after a shopper tried to hoard multiple packets of toilet paper.
The viral video shows a mother and daughter fighting a thirdwoman who wanted a pack of toilet paper.
"I just want one pack," a shopper involved in the fightsays to another woman holding an overflowing trolley full of toilet rolls.
After the fight the Woolworths and Coles store in Australia wasforced to impose a limit of four packs of toilet paper per customer in a singletransaction.
The incident is the latest in a series of scuffles insupermarkets as shoppers panic buy products in a bid to prepare for the likelyspread of the novel coronavirus.
In another incident, a man was tasered during a fight overtoilet paper. ¡°When a female customer approached the man, he allegedly grabbed her aroundthe throat before she was assisted by another customer. No injuries have beenreported,¡± the statement added. The manthen stormed off to another store states reports.
Panic buying and believingthat a dramatic event warrants an exaggerated response is something everyone needs to overcome. The best thing to do is stay calm andinformed rather than going on an irrational splurge for no reason.?
