Storm Ciara that is raging across northwest Europe has led to hundreds of trains and flights being cancelled. It is being called the ¡®storm of the century¡¯ as it continues to bring heavy rainfall and winds along with it, flooding houses and roads in its path.?
Now a video that is going viral actually shows Storm Ciara¡¯s effect on a Stobart Air flight.
Footage captured at the Birmingham Airport shows the Embraer aircraft being blown sideways by the storm. The video shows the pilot of a Stobart Air flight attempting to land the plane but it sways left and right because of strong winds. The video is spine-chilling as anything could have gone wrong if the winds were stronger. The pilot managed to keep the plane on the runway even after facing resistance from the storm.?
According to Daily Mail, the Stobart Air flight was arriving from Belfast. The pilot was forced to abort the landing and attempt to take off again.
People had all sorts of reactions to the video. One user commented, ¡®Wow extremely impressive footage!¡¯ while another said, ¡®Amazing footage. You've done a great job recording this. But I am sure that it wasn't such a great experience for the passengers¡¯.?
The passengers were indeed lucky to have been able to survive the storm.?
