Coronavirus scare in China has led people to take some precautionary measures.?
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in India are increasing too- there have been two new confirmed cases of infected people in Delhi and one in Jaipur. Around the world, the number of infected people is nearing 1 lakh; more than 3000 people have been killed because of coronavirus.
The measures to avoid contracting the virus include being quarantined inside their houses to putting masks on their pets.
In a recent case, a man locked his wife inside a bathroom as he feared she had contracted coronavirus. The Lithuanian man locked his wife after she met with a Chinese woman who had arrived from Italy.
The wife contacted the police who rushed to the apartment in the capital Vilnius. He said that he locked his wife after ¡®consulting on the phone with doctors' on how to avoid infection, Daily Mail reports.?
However the woman did not press charges so the man was not arrested. The wife got tested for the virus, just to be sure and the result came out negative.Till now Lithuania has only reported one case of the deadly disease which is sweeping across the globe.?
The latest countries to be struck by coronavirus are Tunisia, Jordan and Indonesia.?All around the globe there have been seventy countries or territories that have now recorded cases. 30 of these reported cases only in the last week.?
In a preventive measure in China, people are shaking their legs instead of hands to avoid physical contact in the face of coronavirus scare.?
A viral video shows men using ¡®leg shake¡¯ to greet each other instead of the handshake.
The exact location and time of the video are not known. It was shared on Twitter by user Marina Rudyak. The video shows a masked man coming out of a vehicle - one of his mask wearing friends steps forward to greet him with a handshake. He turns down the gesture and hints at doing a leg shake instead. The man went on to great other men, including the one recording the video with a ¡®leg shake¡¯. The video was shared with the caption, ¡®What to do if you can¡¯t shake hands?¡¯
With the virus spreading rapidly, one can never be too careful. So, while this may look and sound funny, it does make some sense
