Well, believe it or not, this happened in Florida, U.S. People eat snakes in some parts of the world but a man bit the head off of a pet python during a domestic fight with a woman.?

According to police, a Florida man bit off the head of a pet python during a heated and violent domestic fight with a woman.Just after 5:20 a.m. on Monday, the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex.?
When officers arrived at the residence, they heard a man and a woman cursing at one other. After knocking on the front door, the detectives allegedly heard the woman scream."Just kick the door in!" the woman begged the cops.?
When police stormed the house, they saw Kevin Justin Mayorga, 32, exit the room. He allegedly tried to seal a door in another room in order to trap the victim "against her will."?
Officers told Mayorga to raise his hands, but he allegedly refused. According to the police report, an officer used a taser on Mayorga, but the weapon had "no effect" on him.?
While officers were trying to control Mayorga, he allegedly began striking them. He is accused of punching one of the officers in the eye with a shackle on only one of his wrists. The police officer sustained a facial abrasion.?Mayorga was eventually restrained by police.?
Mayorga gnawed off the head of a pet python, according to the woman in the house. Mayorga, according to the woman, seized the snake and decapitated it.?
After discovering the ball python's body and severed head at the front door, police purportedly confirmed the snake's decapitation.?
According to police records, Mayorga was charged with one count each of animal cruelty with the intent to kill, false detention, and violently resisting an officer.?
