Whatever gets the job done! A giant pothole in Indonesian regency of?Central Lombok, was finally fixed by the road authorities after?videos and images?of a man "bathing" and "fishing" in it went viral on social media.
According to local reports, the pothole was just one of many located in a part of the city that usually experienced heavy traffic. Allegedly, the authorities had been neglecting the issue for far too long.?

This prompted a few individuals to perform the viral stunts in the hopes of finally grabbing the attention of road authorities.??
One video in particular, of a man identified as Amaq Ohan, has been grabbing the headlines. Ohan can be casually seeing taking a bath in a pothole with his clothes on. He uses a mug to pour water on himself and also wash his hair.

Another image that went viral showed Ohan sitting cross-legged on a plastic chair with an umbrella in his hand and fishing in the middle of the flooded pothole. Talk about making the difference, albeit bizarrely.?
In the background, drivers and motorists can be seen passing by Amaq as he continues to protest unbothered by them.
After the visuals of Ohan making light of the terrible road conditions went viral, local authorities finally made the effort to attend to the potholes.?
One official confirmed the start of the roadworks, but oddly dismissed claims by the locals that the work had begun too late.??
