A massive steel monolith was recently discovered on a hill in Wales, perplexing locals and specialists alike.?
According to the New York Post, the 10-foot-tall steel block, shaped like a big Toblerone, was discovered by locals on Hay Bluff near the Powys town over the weekend.?
''I thought it looked a little strange and might be a scientific media research thing collecting rainwater," Richard Haynes told reporters.
"But then I realized it was far too tall and unusual for that. Then I approached it, and it was at least 10-feet tall, triangular, and clearly stainless steel. It was hollow and, I assume, fairly light. "It's light enough for two people to carry up and plant it," Haynes remarked.
The images of the monolith that have gone viral have sparked various conspiracy theories online. While some said it was the work of aliens, others believed it was a complex piece of hidden artwork.?
