MrBeast Gives Away Tesla On Threads To Celebrate Follower Milestone
After Threads went live in 100 countries, many influential content creators too joined the platform. MrBeast, the American YouTuber, too joined the app. Soon after, surpassed all expectations and created a record becoming the first user of the app to have a million followers.
To celebrate his first milestone on the platform, Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast surprised his followers by announcing a giveaway. The content creator is known for offering grand prizes to people through his videos. So, it wasn¡¯t a surprise when he suggested a giveaway to celebrate his follower count.
However, people were surprised when Jimmy mentioned that to celebrate his milestone on Threads he would give away a Tesla to one of his followers on the platform. People found this move a bit of a trolling attempt as the Tesla tycoon, Elon Musk, has openly expressed his distaste for Mark Zuckerberg¡¯s threads as a rival to Twitter.

Given the tension between the two CEOs, it was certainly bold of MrBeast to giveaway a Tesla on the platform. In a recent post on Threads, the YouTuber announced the winner of the giveaway. Two days before, Jimmy had shared a picture of himself with a white Tesla that was customised and ordered to have a stamp of the Threads logo on the hood of the car.? With the picture, he announced the giveaway.?

The winner of the giveaway rejoiced the moment by pointing out that they had won a Tesla, the automobile company owned by Elon Musk, on his competitor¡¯s new app. This simple fact raised the value of the win for the user and also entertained MrBeast¡¯s followers on the platform.
From the looks of it, the car in the image posted by Jimmy seems to be a Tesla Model 3. Certainly a moment of joy for the winner. However, this is not the only time MrBeast had showed his generous spirit to people. Back in May of this year, Jimmy played a significant role in providing prosthetic limbs for 2,000 amputees in Cambodia.
In addition to that, the project he initiated led to a notable donation of $2,700,000 (over Rs 22 crore) worth of unused and overproduced clothes to the Hopi tribe residing in northeastern Arizona.
