When it comes to an optical illusion, the Internet just can't seem to get enough of it. Remember the?spinning cat?gif?picture? The case of a stack of cubes? Or a Mermaid?? ? ? ?
Today, we have another illusion that has created quite a stir on social media. A retro?puzzle, which is actually a painting, challenges the viewers to spot a bear hidden in plain sight.?
The old artwork shows a hunter, bent on his knees and gun in hand, creating an impression that he is looking for a target in a snow-covered forest.
The drawing, shared by?Playbuzz, may seem to trick you into believing there's no bear, But there actually is a large grizzly bear somewhere in the background.?
Can't find it??
Well, look closely and you will find the bear disguised as a cliff face in the background.
It appears that the beast is either unconscious or dead because it seems to be down on the ground with its head facing the sky.??
Recently, another optical illusion, showing a stack of cubes went viral.?
In a video shared on?YouTube, a?cube art is placed on a flat surface - but can you work it out?
Thankfully,?Michael Cheshire, who built the art,?explained all about the?illusion, which is a two-dimensional work made from wood veneers on a solid background.
In the description, he said: ¡°The impression of depth is caused by the choice of three colours of wood arranged in a hexagon to look like a 3D cube.?With many hexagons arranged to overlap and of differing sizes the 3D effect becomes magnified. Adding the larger outer hexagons makes another illusory cube which encloses and balances the whole design."
¡°The gaps between also help to give the structure a 3D effect overall. Even when shown that it is flat, we are compelled to see it as 3D," it added.?
The perplexing illusion was shared as part of the best illusion of the year contest which celebrates the most mind-blowing images from around the world.? ??
