It may appear to be just another average doll, but it is not. It has achieved a reputation for all the wrong reasons. Meet Elizabeth, the world's "most haunted doll" who is said to be possessed by the soul of a jilted wife. It has reportedly assaulted 17 men and is currently housed in the Haunted Objects Museum in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.?
Lee Steer, a 37-year-old paranormal investigator, purchased the doll for ?866 (Rs 95,100) on eBay after learning of its alleged animosity towards men.?
According to the New York Post, Ms Steer said that the doll assaulted men, injuring some of them. He's been one of the targets of the doll's anger. In contrast, Elizabeth does not injure any of the ladies around her.
Lee Steer and his 32-year-old partner, Sarah Carter, felt a scorching sensation on their necks while conducting an examination in the museum's wedding doll room.?
Later, he found scratches on his back that resembled a pentagram. "It appears that the doll has a disdain for males. More than 15 people have contacted me to report being scratched. "It has only attacked men, never women," Mr Steer told The New York Post.?
Sarah has been avoiding the bridal doll room because she is uncomfortable with its presence.
Aside from physical attacks on males, Mr Steer said that the haunted doll set off fire alarms moved furniture about the room, tossed a perfume bottle across the room, and engaged in a variety of other behaviours.?
During one paranormal investigation, he said that Elizabeth created technical interference in-camera recordings, and the words 'bride' and 'haunting' appeared on multiple occasions.?
