Being stalked by some random guy is the sad reality every woman faces at one point in her life. But in this age, we women don't only have to be aware of who's stalking us physically but digitally as well.?
A woman on Twitter had to face that and shared some screenshots of a guy who?stalked?her digitally after seeing her outdoors and reached her DM's.??
When the girl asked him how he even found her, his explanation was spine-chilling. The guy boasted how he?used an app to scan the number plate of her father's car and then tracked him on Facebook. Then he tracked down her older sister, looked through her Instagram friend list, and finally found the girl.
He basically stalked her entire family and called it 'talent'.?
The woman captioned the screenshots of her conversation and wrote, "Men have 0 shame. They have apps that scan number plates of cars and give you the personal information of the owner. Apparently, they use it for stalking women. This is so scary."
?Twitter was enraged after seeing the screenshots and mostly by how proudly he shared his stalking technique.?
While most of us enjoy and even romanticise these kinds of stalking habits when we see them in a movie or a show, nobody knows what kind of inspiration is one taking from these kinds of narratives.?
As a woman, knowing that there is an application that can lead a random stranger to know all my and my family details is absolutely a personal hell. There is a thin line where technology can turn from a boon to bane in no time.?Strict punishment needs to be implemented for such vile acts.?
