An event called ¡®Storm Area 51¡¯ went viral in the month of July, this year. It was created as a joke, but about 2 million people agreed to go to Nevada and invade the secret US military space. The event was scheduled for September 20 - today - and even though the man who started it all cancelled the event, people have started showing up at Area 51!?
According to the event's page, the plan was to "naruto run" toward the facility so the group can "move faster than their bullets," the event says. "Lets see them aliens."?
It is assumed that the?US military has aliens captured in Area 51 and carries out all kinds of experiments there. Public is not allowed in the area and is? kept away by warning signs, electronic surveillance and armed guards.?
Fox news reported that people are coming from around the world to 'storm' Area 51. Pointing out that even if 1% of the 2 million people show up that is still 20,000 people!
Police arrested two Dutch students for trespassing, but reduced a one year sentence to three days, after which they are to go back to their country. The police and army are reportedly prepared for 'casualties' and invasion by people. Even when the event has been cancelled, they do not seem to want to take any risks.
Seriously, what the hell are they hiding in there, or who the hell?
While technically it has been cancelled, it has not stopped people from pondering over the event, sharing memes and also trespassing (two people have already been arrested for it).
