Any normal human being would turn white at the sight of an alligator casually strolling towards him. But, seems like golfers are a league apart.
Nothing can turn their attention away from the game, not even a giant alligator strolling dangerously close to the player.
Professional wakeboarder Steel Lafferty was playing golf at the Champions Gate Country Club in Orlando when a gator unexpected crossed his path, apparently on a leisurely stroll.
¡°I wasn¡¯t too worried,¡± Lafferty told CNN. ¡°I wakeboard professionally so I¡¯m always in the water and I¡¯ve kind of been around gators my whole life. There was a bit of a worry, but it seemed like he was doing his own thing so I let him go.¡±
"My shot was really good and that was really the only thing I was worried about. I had to make par on the hole because we had a bet going and I was more worried about winning the bet than getting eaten."
Lafferty seemed absolutely calm and composed in that moment and it¡¯s commendable. He told Fox News that the alligator eventually disappeared into a lake near the golf course.
