It's ironic when someone preaches certain values and then goes on to act in the exact opposite way. "I am not racist BUT..." is a common statement which basically reveals just how racist you are.?
The reason we are talking about this is because recently at a press conference held at the White House, a?New York Post journalist was reportedly blatantly seen making fun of an Indian reporter.
The video was shared by Twitter user @damonimani and ever since then, the social networking website is flooded with furious tweets. Have a look at the video!
The journalist who's managed to piss Indians and non-Indians alike is reportedly Ebony Bowden and is of Australian origin. She was captured on video making mocking faces at Mr Raghubir Goyal who has been a reporter for the White House for many years.
Damon who tweeted the video went on to explain things further. Read the thread below:
The irony that lies here is that Miss Bowden is the author of an article that stresses on how 'casual racism' is prevalent across the globe.?
What Ebony (whut?) didn't realise was that Mr Raghubir Goyal has been in the White House since Carter's time.
In the video, you can evidently see her lack of professionalism, if not racism.
Her insulting behaviour has left the internet extremely furious and no, it is not just the Indians that have taken offence. People from the West are aggressively tweeting and demanding an apology from Bowden and the New York Post.
Shaming someone on the basis of how they speak, where they come from, what they look like and several other 'reasons' is completely unacceptable. Miss Bowden needs to publicly apologise to her professional senior, Mr Raghubir Goyal.?
