Anybody knows what ¡®Vintage, boho dresses¡¯ are? The traditional kurtas you wear is what this British clothing brand calls vintage, boho dresses! The brand has been facing criticism online for selling these dresses.?
The dresses look very similar to the traditional kurtas with their side-slits and traditional motifs, minus the bottoms. A Twitter user named Diya spotted this, and shared the screenshots of the ¡®dresses¡¯.?
She took to Twitter and wrote, ¡®Vintage boho dress????? girl u got on a kameez with no salwar.¡¯
In no time, her tweet went viral on social media and collected over 14.6k likes and 7k retweets. The screenshots showed the models wearing dresses/kurtas priced between 30 to 36 pounds - approximately Rs 1,775 to Rs 3,190. Are you kidding me?
After the images were shared on Twitter, some people were pissed, while others simply could not stop laughing.

The images were from a vintage and retro clothing website based out in Purfleet, a town in England. According to Metro, the website - Thrifted.com - pulled down the garments after the backlash.?
A spokesperson told Metro, ¡°Thrifted.com purchased a bulk mix of vintage/second-hand dresses from a supplier who had labelled them as ¡®boho¡¯. They were then listed on the website under this name."
