India¡¯s Stern Reply To China¡¯s ¡®Senseless¡¯ Attempts Of Renaming 30 Places In Arunachal Pradesh
China's Ministry of Civil Affairs recently released its fourth list of standardized geographical names for places in Arunachal Pradesh, which China refers to as Zangnan. India strongly condemned this move, asserting that Arunachal Pradesh has always been and will remain an integral part of India. The US also expressed opposition, stating that it recognizes Arunachal Pradesh as Indian territory and opposes any unilateral attempts to change territorial claims. Assam's Chief Minister suggested a tit-for-tat response by releasing Indian names for 60 places in Tibet under Chinese control. People in Arunachal Pradesh have denounced China's efforts to rename areas within Indian territory.
