It¡¯s a new day and Elon Musk has already posted his latest musing!
According to Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk, Meta, led by Mark Zuckerberg, does not disclose specific advertising metrics, while its X platform reportedly delivers superior returns compared to Meta's own Facebook platform.
In response to a follower's comment stating that X outperforms Meta significantly and accusing Meta of falsifying their ad metrics, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX concurred, saying "True."
¡°Our advertising relevance has greatly improved,¡± wrote the tech billionaire.
Another user on X noted that the pattern of rising ad expenses and declining Return On Advertisement Spend (ROAS) on Meta has been evident for some time and appears to be getting worse.
¡°Leaving advertisers with no control over ad relevance and reach on Meta. No surprise we are onboarding so many new advertisers on X now,¡± he added.
Musk responded to this and wrote: ¡°Advertise on X.¡±
In February of this year, the Musk-led social media platform introduced the 'Creator Targeting' program, enabling advertisers to display ads alongside specific content creators on the platform. This move empowered advertisers to avoid associating their ads with controversial or offensive content.
It's important to mention that in November of last year, X CEO Linda Yaccarino acknowledged that some advertisers had departed from the platform due to backlash over Musk's support of anti-Semitic content.
Whether Zuckerberg respond to his or not remains to be seen!
Billionaire Elon Musk has announced plans to visit India and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, amid speculation that Tesla, his electric vehicle company, is actively searching for land to establish a factory in the country. Musk expressed his anticipation for the meeting with PM Modi on the X platform, stating, "Excited about the upcoming meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India!"
Elon Musk is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the week of April 22 in New Delhi, as reported by the Reuters news agency.
