India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) provides services at your home through Doorstep Banking (DSB) for your regular banking transactions. The service is available to all citizens in every district, town, and village across the country.
"You can open a bank account, transfer funds, deposit and withdraw cash, recharge or pay bills, buy life insurance & general insurance, and accomplish much more with our Doorstep Banking Services facility, at nominal charges (NIL charge for new account opening at your doorstep). You can also access your Aadhaar-linked accounts held with other banks and avail some of the services like cash withdrawal," according to the IPPB website.
To book IPPB doorstep banking service online, customers can either call the Call Centre at 155299 or request GDS, Postmen, or the Post office.
As per the IPPB website, "The request can be raised for a minimum of T+2 days and a maximum of T+10 days. Customers can select a time slot for the delivery of service between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the scheduled date."
