Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's leading IT services firm, has initiated the recruitment of fresh graduates, offering a significant reprieve to engineering students amidst a downturn in demand that prompted many IT companies to halt hiring activities.
TCS has invited applications from the 2024 batches of BTech, BE, MCA, MSc, and MS students. The deadline for applying is April 10, with tests scheduled for April 26, as indicated on the company's career page.
The Mumbai-based company is recruiting for three categories: Ninja, Digital, and Prime. The Ninja category provides a package of Rs 3.36 lakhs per annum for various positions, whereas the Digital and Prime categories offer Rs 7 lakhs and Rs 9-11.5 lakhs per annum, respectively.
As the company has not specified the exact number, it remains to be seen how many offer letters will be distributed by India¡¯s leading IT sector recruiter.
TCS has not disclosed the number of vacancies.
