The countdown for Anant Ambani and Radika Merchant¡¯s wedding has begun. Mukesh Ambani is set to host an opulent bash for his youngest son which will be held from 12-14 July.?
The wedding invitations are being distributed with Anant paying a visit to his close friends from the industry. On the other hand, Nita Ambani recently visited Varanasi to offer the first card at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and seek the blessings of the almighty for this son.?
While visiting the city to seek blessings at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple for her son Anant's wedding, she also savored street-side Banarasi chaat and visited a weavers' store to purchase sarees for the occasion. She generously donated Rs. 1 crore to the Maa Annapurna Temple and Rs. 1.5 crore to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, as per a report by TOI. Later, she participated in the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Nita Ambani spent time by the sacred river, witnessing the Ganga Aarti after offering prayers at the Baba Vishwanath shrine. She visited a chaat stall in the Dashashwamedh area, enjoying local cuisine. Later, she visited weaver Vijay Maurya's home in Sahityanaka, Ramnagar district, where she observed the handloom process and inquired about the materials used.?
She admired the intricate embroidery on the sarees. Previously, she had summoned numerous Banarasi businesspeople and artisans to her hotel to showcase their sarees, from whom she placed orders with several different weavers.
¡°Nita Ambani selected our ¡®Lakkha Buti¡¯ saree, which is prepared by traditional 'kadhua technique¡¯, incorporating one lakh butis,¡± said a saree manufacturer Angika Kushwaha, a PhD in textile, of Ramnagar.?
According to her father, Amresh Kushwaha, who is also the chairman of the UP Industrial Cooperative Association, Nita Ambani bought over a hundred sarees from different weavers for the wedding event.

Mukesh Ambani's wife and founder of the Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani placed the wedding card at the feet of Lord Shiva.
