While the car mechanically remains the same, the new edition comes with several upgrades on the outside and inside.

There's a choice between two engines for the Fronx: a 1.2-liter petrol engine with 89 hp and 113 Nm torque, and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 99 hp and 148 Nm torque.

These engines can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission for the 1.2-liter engine and a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic for the turbo-petrol engine.

The Turbo Velocity Edition only works with the turbo-petrol engine, which means it won't be available with the 1.2-liter engine.

It's important to note that the Fronx is the only car in Maruti Suzuki's lineup that offers a turbo-petrol engine option.
