Kiara was born to Jagdeep Advani and Genevieve Jaffrey on 31st July 1991. She was brought up and educated in Bombay.

Unknown to many, Kiara has her old roots in Bollywood as Actors Ashok Kumar and Saeed Jaffrey are her step-great-grandfather and great-uncle, respectively.

Kiara¡¯s original name was Alia before entering Bollywood and due to the existing prominence of Alia Bhatt, Advani changed her first name.

For the unversed, Isha Ambani is Kiara¡¯s good and old childhood friend. The duo frequently spends time together.

Kiara Advani made her debut in showbiz with 2014¡¯s Fugly and right after that bagged MS Dhoni: An Untold Story.
