BYD Launches Seal Electric Sedan: Unveiling Sustainable Luxury on Indian Roads

BYD Auto introduces its Seal electric sedan in India, joining its existing lineup including the Atto 3 SUV and e6 MPV.

The Seal sedan is available in three variants: Dynamic, Premium, and top-spec Performance, catering to different customer needs.

Customers have the choice between two battery pack options: a 61.44 kWh pack for the Dynamic variant and an 82.56 kWh pack for the Premium and Performance variants.

Interested buyers can book the Seal sedan by paying a token amount of Rs 1.25 lakh.

Prices for the Seal sedan start at Rs 41 lakh for the Dynamic variant, Rs 45.55 lakh for the Premium, and Rs 53 lakh for the Performance variant (ex-showroom).

The power outputs vary across the variants: 201 bhp and 310 Nm torque for Dynamic, 308 bhp and 360 Nm for Premium, and 522 bhp and 670 Nm for Performance.

The Seal Dynamic offers a claimed range of 510 km with 0-100 kmph acceleration in 7.5 seconds. The Premium variant boasts a range of 650 km with 0-100 kmph in 5.9 seconds, while the Performance variant offers a 580 km range with acceleration in 3.8 seconds.

The Seal sedan is equipped with advanced features to enhance the driving experience and comfort of the passengers such as, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, rotating touchscreen infotainment system and many more.

The BYD Seal EV is available in four colour options - Arctic Blue, Atlantis Grey, Aurora White, and Cosmos Black.

BYD's entry into the Indian electric vehicle market with the Seal sedan signifies a significant step towards electrification and innovation in the country's automotive sector.
