Sharada Peeth, in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), is a revered Hindu temple for Saraswati and one of the eighteen Maha Shakti Peethas, sanctified by Adi Shankaracharya, marking where Sati's right hand fell.

Situated on the Telangana border in Kaleshwaram town, the Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple is among the trio of significant Lord Shiva temples. It derives its name from Lord Shiva as Mukteshwara and Lord Yama as Kaleshwa.

Koothanur Maha Saraswathi Temple, in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvarur district, honors Saraswati. Legend says Rajaraja Chola gifted it to poet Ottakoothar, naming the town Koothanur.
