Plant the bulb with the root side facing downward into the soil, ensuring the top third remains exposed. This arrangement allows ample room for root growth. Water the soil until it is moist, and then position your amaryllis in a sunny location.

To prevent bulb damage, refrain from overwatering. Water your plant only when the top 7 cm of soil has dried out.
