Sarojini Naidu was a great poet and freedom fighter in India. Sarojini Naidu was born in Hyderabad City, India. Sarojini Naidu was the second woman President of the Indian National Congress and the first woman Governor of India, Uttar Pradesh.

Sarojini Naidu married Dr. Govind Rajulu Naidu in 1897. It was an inter-caste marriage, at that time marrying someone from another caste was no less than a crime.

Sarojini Naidu used to write very beautiful poems, among her famous poems Bharat Desh Hai Pyara, Nari, Badalta Hoon, was very popular.
