On February 1, 2024, the country's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the budget for the 6th time. Every year, through the budget, the Finance Minister presents the accounts of the financial year.

Red color was used for the first time in the budget briefcase in the year 1860. This briefcase was made by British Chancellor Gladstone to keep the budget documents.??

He had covered the box with red colored leather and had the British Queen's monogram printed on it. Then this budget briefcase was called Gladston Box.??
