A look at them shows that the e-scooter from the company will come with a neo-retro design much like the Vespas found in Bajaj¡¯s international markets. Electric Scooter Signals
Bajaj¡¯s electric scooter does not come as a surprise product in the market. Instead, the company has been vocal about its since long now. At the start of the year, Rajiv Bajaj, Bajaj Auto Managing Director, confirmed that the company was not interested in conventional IC engine scooters anymore and that it will be coming up with a sub-brand to foray into the electric two-wheeler segment.
Now that the launch of Bajaj¡¯s first electric scooter under the Urbanite sub-brand is confirmed, we can only anticipate its price to be around Rs 1 lakh. The price tag will help the EV compete against the Ather 450, one of the major competitions in the electric two-wheelers segment.
