It can be judged from the images that the electric XUV 300 is in the initial stages of its development. Mahindra has not let out any of the features of the electric car either. One sure thing is that it will be based on the regular variant and hence will carry its design language for the most parts.

From what can be seen in the spy shots, the electric offering from the house of Mahindra will come with basic headlights associated with the car and normal steel wheels, though these might be changed by the time the final version of the electric car is announced.
Earlier codenamed the S210, the electric XUV 300 is poised to be the first electric sub-four metre SUV in the country. Previous reports have also indicated that the electric SUV will be having more than one models, based on the range offered by the variants. With high-density lithium-ion batteries, Mahindra is expected to unveil a long range variant of the car with a promise of 400 kms on a single charge.
Once the all-electric XUV 300 makes its way to India, it will be competing against the likes of Hyundai Kona and MG Hector, which are due to be released in the country's market this year and the next respectively.
