Yamaha Motor India has quietly dispatched a few version 2.0 fuel-injected variants of its popular Fazer to showrooms across the National Capital Region.
Dealerships in Gurgaon have already started selling the Fazer FI V2.0 at an on-road price of Rs 94,600. In Delhi too, new Fazer FI V2.0 bikes have also started arriving at dealerships.
The front fairing has been redesigned on the Fazer FI V2.0. It gets what seems like a rather odd-looking elongated engine cowl.
The front fairing includes a pilot lamp and twin headlamps, which look sharper than before. From the front, it's quite nice looking
The engine is the same Yamaha Blue Core technology enabled, fuel-injected 149cc unit that powers the FZ FI V2.0 as well as the FZ-S FI V2.0, making 13.1PS and 12.8Nm of torque.
The instrument cluster is a digital unit with speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter and digital fuel gauge
The fairing proudly wears the Version 2.0 sticker on the new Yamaha Fazer FI V2.0
Like its other variants, the FZ FI V2.0 and the FZ-S V2.0, the Fazer FI V2.0 also gets a rear tyre hugger. It seems practical, but somehow obscures the chunky looking fat rear tyre
The exhaust on the Fazer FI V2.0 is also the same as the one on the FZ FI V2.0 and FZ-S FI V2.0
It's a good looking bike overall. Looks good from most angles and will appeal to young riders with its faired 'big bike' looks
