38 Really Good Things That Happened In 2017

2017 was an exciting year for many reasons. While a lot of bad persisted in the world, from mass shootings to forced killings, a lot of good also rooted from many corners. A lot of people came forward to speak for their fundamental rights, many women ran a crusade against gender discrimination, new reforms came into action, rescue operation etc.

But since it is very hard to remember all the good things amidst the bad, we have curated a list of all the great things that kept our spirit alive.

1. Over 80 people formed a human chain to rescue a family drowning in the seas, in Florida.

3. India becomes the ninth country in the world to have legal rights for transgenders.

4. First community toilet for transgenders built in Bhopal.

5. Canada passes a bill that stops airlines from removing passengers from overbooked flights.

Zimbabwe is the latest country to ban corporal punishment against children. Who would've thought Zimbabwe would be modern on human rights?
